Organic Clothes Made in USA
Wild Dill, a fair trade clothing store, was created by Jennifer in 2008 and was inspired by her son Dylan, hence the name Wild Dill. After the original Wild Dill grew up, Jennifer was ready to move on to a new project. In 2014, the store changed hands and is now owned by Tina Bar a mom of 2 little boys. The store name stayed the same but the mission to support ethical children's fashion, green products and made in USA brands hasn't changed.
"I came across Wild Dill eco friendly fashion store and loved the design, products and mission that Jennifer started. Once I found out the store was for sale I realized this was the business I was meant to own. The final sign was when I found out she lived a few towns over from me in the San Francisco Bay Area, after an in-person meeting I purchased the site in October and became the proud new owner of Wilddill.com. Since becoming the new owner I have been building up new inventory to bring new organic, fair trade and heirloom style clothing and toys styles our loyal customers. We hope you enjoy our selection and customer service focused shopping experience."

Handmade Organic Home decor
Our selection celebrates color, pattern and a global perspective. Clothing is chosen from indie designers who choose soft, comfortable fabrics with a focus on organic and pima cottons. Handmade and heirloom quality toys from top quality sustainable wood, cotton or other natural materials. Organic bedding and nursery decor that is whimsical and inspired by the natural world and invoke wonder and curiosity. Jewelry and home decor that celebrate mom and create a bohemian, worldly comfortable home.
Brands are chosen for their unique point of view and quality products and include indie designers, fair trade artisans and USA based family businesses. Transparency is very important that is why on each product page you will find details on the production; you can also search by various materials and see the country of origin. Brands with inherent social missions such as our large range of Fair Trade partners details their craftspeople and organizational mission.
Giving back and continuing our work of creating a safe and natural world for the next generation is very important to me personally. That is why a portion of each Wild Dill sale supports the Tree Planting Foundation, a wonderful non-profit that brings fruit trees to a range of communities worldwide.

Hand felted and applique details are done by a Fair Trade women's group
Handmade by a womens felting business in Kathmandu, Nepal, that emphasizes providing skills and income opportunities to women of greater need. Wild Woolies is a brand of dZi Handmade Designs, who provide economic stability, safe working conditions and living wages for over 300 felt and knit artisans living in the Kathmandu valley.
Walking into the Kathmandu production center’s reception you are immediately greeted by a cheerful ‘Namaste’ with hands pressed together in a prayerful expression. Proceeding into any of the production halls you’ll be greeted by a complete chorus of the same as dozens of ladies press felt into a variety of shapes, while others stitch, needle and applique to finish hundreds of different styles of decorative items for export.
Sheep’s wool is an amazingly adaptable fiber. It can be dyed any color and when hand felted using warm mildly soapy water it can be molded into any shape, or then cut and sewn together as per your imagination. Because the felting and most of the stitching process is all done by hand with natural materials that can be sustainably harvested, hand felted products have a relatively soft impact on the environment. Commercial exports of felted products from Nepal have grown exponentially since around 2000, benefitting thousands of mostly women workers, production managers and family businesses who help support their families and educate their children with their earnings.
